Summary

As a product design Splunktern, I worked on the investigation and anomaly experience for the admin dashboard. There was a need for the admin to be able to dive deep into a data point and set up anomaly detection for the ingested data.

Investigation Experience

After multiple iterations, I defined the navigation and filter experience for investigating into a specific data point. Within the investigation view, admins are able to toggle between different characteristics of the data to investigate a desired data point or time range.

Anomaly Experience

From the perspective of an important data entity to the company, I created a full click through journey of creating a new rule of anomaly detection for specific data entities and its detection sensitivity. Admins are then able to view and manage their anomaly rules from the settings dashboard.
